Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, San Jose Alumni Chapter, will be awarding scholarships to African American high school male graduating seniors in the San Jose area for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Scholarship Application Requirements 

  • Completed Application

  • Student essay (500 words minimum) covering the following:

    • Student Name and High School​

    • Personal Information about student

    • Meaning of achievement

    • Why you deserve a scholarship from Kappa Alpha Psi

  • A photo that can be used in a published document

  • Sealed Transcript (GPA of 2.5 or higher is required)

  • Two letters of recommendation (one must be from a school advisor, counselor, or teacher)

  • Proof of acceptance to a college/university of your choice
